LSU is one of only a handful of schools in college football with a full 100-yard indoor, climate-controlled football practice facility. The indoor facility features Sportexe Momentum synthetic turf systems, the same turf system used by the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens for it home stadiums.

"Sportexe has been extremely receptive in helping us achieve our desired outcome," said Eddie Nuñez, LSU Associate Athletic Director - Operations and Project Development. "The Momentum 41 provided LSU the best opportunity to be successful and to continue to compete at an elite level. We continue to receive positive feedback from our head coach and our student-athletes."

The indoor facility is so authentic the surface is crowned in the middle with lighting on the sides of the field to simulate game conditions. The facility is located adjacent to the outdoor practice field so a practice session can resume indoors within 10 minutes if an outdoor practice is interrupted by rain or lightning.

LSU's Football Operations Center is an all-in-one facility that includes football offices, a locker room, a training room, an equipment room, and a video operations center. The $15 million facility is also equipped with a satellite medical facility, which can service injured players as well as rehab recovering players on-site.
